Lady Gaga makes her debut as an actress in Machete Kills!

After creating waves in the music industry Lady Gaga is all set to step in front of the camera as an actress. Lady Gaga, is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, activist, businesswoman, fashion designer, and now an actress! The world first knew her in 2008 because of her creation The Fame, which was a critical and commercial success.

She has won 5 Grammy Awards and has gone on her second worldwide tour which was facilitated by the success of her album The Fame Monster. The Monster Ball Tour, as it was called was named one of the highest-grossing concert tours of all time and the highest-grossing for a debut headlining artist just weeks after the release of the album and months after having finished The Fame Ball Tour.

Gaga also contributes to the fight against HIV and AIDS, focusing on educating young women about the risks of the disease. In collaboration with Cyndi Lauper, Gaga joined forces with MAC Cosmetics to launch a line of lipstick under their supplementary cosmetic line, Viva Glam. Talking about the same Lady Gaga announced at a press release “I don’t want Viva Glam to be just a lipstick you buy to help a cause.

I want it to be a reminder when you go out at night to put a condom in your purse right next to your lipstick.” The sales of Gaga-endorsed Viva Glam lipstick and lip gloss have raised more than $202 million to fight HIV and AIDS.

After having done so much she decided to explore the world of acting for which she chose Robert Rodriguez’s “Machete Kills.” She is playing a character called La Chameleón and the film also stars Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Alexa Vega, Zoe Saldana, Mel Gibson, Vanessa Hudgens, Charlie Sheen, and more. The story revolves around the titular ex-Federale (Trejo) as he is recruited by the U.S. President (Sheen) to stop an arms dealer (Gibson) and a revolutionary (Bichir).

The audience can enjoy the film in theatres near them from the 11th of this month. I have not revealed the best part yet! All the fans of Gaga will be extremely happy to know that Machete Kills is feature a sneak into the singer’s new creation Aura from her upcoming album Artpop. So we are yet to see if Lady Gaga will be as successful in her acting career as she has been as a singer. Well, all we can do is wait and watch while wishing the best for her.
