The ultra-small Bluetooth location stickers have been developed by Stick-n-find Technologies, a subsidy of SSI America. They’re very discreet and are approximately the size of a quarter and only 0.16 inches. You can stick them absolutely anywhere you wish and to anything, person or animal, and find them in minutes with the help of an app on your Smartphone.
One app detects all the stickers; the radar screen displays the location of all the devices which are within your range. You can see how far or close you are to the item you’re searching for, and you can also set a range so that if the item goes out of that range, then the app will alert you.
On the radar, once the item you’re looking for pops up within range, then you can start walking in the specific direction and see if it gets closer or farther from you. It monitors the whereabouts of items with the sticker on them up to a range of 100 feet.
Also, you can make the sticker buzz, flash the lights, or do both to find it easily, even in the dark. They’re perfect for finding small or moving items or items that you frequently tend to misplace. It’s a kind of “virtual leash,” as stated by the company on their website.
It’s a handy, handy item that everyone needs; after all, we’re all human! You can even set different alarms for different stickers, and they’re available in a variety of colors. They are going to be released in March this year but are also available for pre-order from indiegogo.com/sticknfind. The app is available on the Apple iTunes store and Google Play.
You might ask what if you lose the sticker itself. Well, there’s a solution for that too! They come in different packs starting from $35 for a pack of two stickers to $1400 for 100 stickers.
