Sandisk had their game on during the CES early this year, but it’s only now that they have officially introduced the Extreme II solid-state drive (SSD). This is a product the company is very proud of and available in a variety of price ranges.
Sandisk claims the product is fast and responsive especially focusing on the ones looking for a performance boost. It’s a great product for gamers. The specs include a built-in 19nm process and nCache technology, quicker boot-ups, and faster runtimes. The hardware boasts up to 550MB/sec sequential read and 510MB/sec sequential write speeds, and up to 95,000 random read Input/Output Operations per Second (IOPS) and 78,000 random write IOPS.
The Extreme II is available now in 120GB, 240GB, and 480GB capacities for $129.99, $229.99, and $439.99 each respectively.
