The news is officially out; this June, you will finally be able to purchase the Wikipad Android handheld gaming console. The gizmo was released in the UK and USA only on the 11th of June 2013.
The Wikpad gaming console comes fitted with a 7 inch 1280 x 800 resolution display, powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor with 16GB of onboard storage for games and applications. Users can play over 50 PlayStation Mobile games as it is certified with permissions; however, this is an option only on the PlayStation range of consoles.
The fun device comes with the crucial MicroSD card slot, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and an HDMI connection, all running Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It has also had access to the Google Play store.
The main tablet section of the Wikipad can be removed from the controller dock. The dock provides physical controls that include dual-analog sticks, gaming buttons, and a D-Pad, all to tame gaming fun and super user-friendly.
The Wikipad will be available on retail in the USA and the UK for $249 or £165, respectively. Are you excited?
