T-Series Smart Thermostats – Honeywell
The smart room sensors were introduced by Resideo, a subsidiary of Honeywell. The company introduced two T-Series, T9 and T10. The key feature of the products is their ability to adjust the temperature within the house by eliminating the hot and cold spots.
Apart from balancing temperature, other features it offers are room prioritization, people detection, humidity, and motion monitoring. It allows integration with standard smart home systems and digital voice assistants, including Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Samsung SmartThings, IFTTT, and others.
Using their app for iOS and Android devices, users can monitor the house remotely and configure temperature and humidity alerts. It is expected to be available by Spring 2019.

CV22A SoC – Ambarella
An automotive camera system on Chip (SoC) introduced by Ambarella, Inc. virtually stole the show for AI/video surveillance in CES 2019. It features the Ambrella CVflow computer vision architecture for powerful Deep Neutral Network (DNN) processing, along with front ADAS cameras, electronic mirrors with blind spot detection, interior driver and cabin monitoring cameras, and around view monitors with parking assist.
Its latest SoC offers features, like lane keeping, automatic emergency braking, intelligent headlight control, and speed assistance functions. Additionally, its toolkit is easy to port by the users and includes a compiler, debugger, and support for industry-standard machine learning frameworks, like Caffeeâ„¢ and TensorFlow.

3D PRINTING
NXE400 3D Printer – Nexa3D
The large format SLA 3D printing machine, NXE400, was exhibited by Nexa3D at CES 2019. The company officially launched it in the North American market. NXE400 SLA 3D is an ultra-fast printer, which is claimed to be faster by 6 times, compared to other competitive printing machines available in the market.
This helps in cutting down the production time for prototypes massively, whilst increasing overall productivity. The model is equipped with cognitive software and integrated sensors, which enable optimized part performance, along with providing users with detailed diagnostics and monitoring capabilities.
It is based on LSPc technology, which consists of a new beam delivery matrix that uses an optical array and continuous and sequential coating.

Elastic Resin and Digital Dentures – formLabs
The two latest printing materials were launched at CES 2019 by Formlabs, which specializes in SLA 3D printing. The company has taken 3D printing a step forward with these innovations.
Elastic Resin is the softest resin that resembles molded silicon, due to its high elasticity and transparency. The company claimed the resin to be highly elastic, yet strong enough not to tear during printing. These resins can be used in the production of small- to medium-sized flexible parts and prototypes, which can speed up product development.
Additionally, Digital Dentures introduced by the company comprise Dental Base Resin and Denture Teeth Resin. With the use of these denture materials, dental labs can now custom-produce dentures based on customer demand and requirement, in turn, saving excess cost and time in production. These are currently available only in the United States market, but the company is working on partnering to make it available across the world.
WEARABLE TECHNOLOGY
Xenoma’s E-Skin Smart Apparel
E-skin smart apparel, presented at CES 2019, has been created by the company Xenoma, in collaboration with WearHEALTH, a research group from Technische Universität Kaiserslautern (TUK), and the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI).
“Xenoma’s hardware represents a perfect integration of sensor technology into clothing so that intelligent technologies can actually be worn like ordinary everyday clothing,” said Dr. Gabriele Bleser, head of wearHEALTH.
The smart clothing comes with highly-developed motion-capturing technology, which enables various applications in sports, healthcare, workforce, and other industries that require detailed and robust motion capturing.

Willow 2.0 Smart Breast Pump
Willow’s next-generation smart breast pump is the first all-in-one wearable pump. The pump fits inside a woman’s bra and is user-friendly, with its features offering mobility, spill-proof, and silence. Its additional features include a peek-through window to check the milk flow and is easy to assemble. Additionally, its app sends notifications and tips to users in real time. LG SL9YG Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos
The latest SL9YG sound bar unveiled by LG at CES offers intriguing features, like built-in Google Assist, which enables users to play music, adjust volume, as well as ask for weather forecasts at the touch of a button.
The model also supports Dolby Atmos, Virtual:X, and DTS:X object-based surrounded sound, creating a 3D soundscape. Dell’s revamped XPS 13 laptop has various added and improved features. The new model comes with new Intel Whiskey Lake CPUs, with options including 8th Gen Intel quad-core i5-8265U or Core i7-8565U processors.
The device has a fixed webcam at the top bezel, offering the smallest webcam with a 4-element lens and active alignment technology, using a 2.25 mm sized lens, as well as better video quality. It also has an enhanced battery life of up to 21 hours.
Other featured changes in the model include a suite of next-gen Dell Cinema technologies, along with Dolby Vision that has the capability to provide 10 times brighter highlights and blacks. It also has a smoother torque, which allows you to open the laptop using only one hand. The product is now available for purchase across the world.

Asus Zephyrus S GX701
The model is one of the best gaming laptops of the year, displayed at CES. The new model features a 17-inch screen that supports fast 144Hz refresh rates and super-slim bezels. Asus claimed that the narrow bezels will make the laptops feel smaller than their actual size.
It, additionally, supports both Nvidia G-Sync and Optimus display technologies that help in reducing screen tearing while playing fast-action games. The laptop has a Pantone-validated display for accurate colors, along with an 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750H processor.
The RAM can be configured with up to 24 GB. It is equipped with a backlit keyboard with customizable LED backlight colors. The model is expected to be available in the coming months.

VIRTUAL AND AUGMENTED REALITY GADGETS
NordicTrack VR Bike
The NordicTrack Virtual Reality Bike unveiled at CES, offers a bizarre combination of fitness and gaming. The bike is bundled with the HTC Vive Focus VR Headset, along with a one-year membership to iFit. It is equipped with three unique games, Aeronauts, Bike Messenger, and The Last Rider, which are developed especially for the bike.
The difficulty levels in the games increase based on your improvement and expertise. To stimulate the changing elevations in the games, the bike offers a 10% incline and decline in position, along with 24 levels of resistance and 16 pedal positions. The bike is expected to be available for purchase this summer.

Pico G2 4K
The Pico G2 4K is an all-in-one virtual handset, which is aimed at businesses rather than general customers. It features a 4K resolution on its internal screens, providing the far most superior visual quality to the users, which is not witnessed in other stand-alone handsets.
It has a “look and choose” control option, unlike traditional controllers. Its additional features include 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space, and compatibility with Pico’s store and Viveport M. The official release hasn’t been disclosed yet, but the headset is expected to be available by mid-year.

GE Appliances’ Kitchen Hub
This futuristic Kitchen Hub by GE Appliances drew massive attention at CES 2019. The Hub is a 27-inch smart touchscreen with a ventilation system, designed to be installed over an oven or a standard cooking range. Its offerings include a built-in Google Assistant, access to innumerable recipes through SideChef, and fully-enabled entertainment and communication station, with options like Netflix and Sportify.
Its additional capabilities include brewing coffee, playing music, social networking, dimming lights, and accessing calendars and schedules, which can help in household management. GE is prepared to bring the product to the customer market this year, with its launch set to be in May 2019.

KitchenAid’s Cook Processor
The all-in-one appliance, displayed at CES 2019, successfully accomplishes all the cooking-related tasks. Be it boiling, steaming, stewing, frying, kneading, chopping, mincing, pureeing, mixing, emulsifying, whipping, or stirring, it performs every task for you. The best thing about the cooking process is that it reduces clean-up time. The product release details have not been revealed by the company so far.

LavvieBot Litter Box
PurrSong debuted a smart cat litter box called LavvieBot at CES 2019. The machine has the ability to automatically clean itself and refill litter. It has a self-scooping mechanism that scoops waste out of the main box as per the time interval selected, between 20 minutes to an hour.
In terms of user-friendliness, its app supports Android and iOS devices, monitors litter and waste levels, monitors litterbox usage, and sends customized notifications. Additionally, the app claims to have the ability to monitor the cat’s health by keeping track of its litter box use and weight changes, although its accuracy is yet to be known. The product is expected to be available for purchase in May 2019.

Pepe pet dryer, unveiled at CES 2019, is said to be a relaxing sauna for your furry companions. The dryer is custom-made for medium-sized pets and works well for both cats and dogs. It has a warm air circulator, just like any other hair dryer, which can dry every single strand of your pet.
It claims to dry a small-sized dog in about 25 minutes, which can save us from wet and messy floors and the hassle of drying our pets post-bathing. Opte Precision Wand
The Opte Precision Wand by Procter & Gamble Ventures, the company’s venture capital arm, is like a real-life beauty filter for the skin. The company promises a device that can scan the color and pigmentation of your skin, spot blemishes, and precisely prints tiny jets of accurate makeup to vanish blemishes, without affecting the rest of the skin.
According to a press release, the wand is a portable thermal inkjet printer with 120 nozzles and a camera that captures your skin images at the rate of 200 per second and deposits 1 billionth of a lighter shade of makeup on every skin spot it detects.

My Skin Track pH – L’Oreal
L’Oreal, in collaboration with Epicore Biosystems, developed My Skin Track pH. The product was exhibited at CES and was one of the most appealing innovations in the beauty-tech segment this year. It is a wearable sensor patch that uses microfluidic technology to detect your skin’s pH levels.
The concept is to diagnose the changes in your pH levels over time, which can help in eliminating serious skin-related problems, like eczema and dry skin that are caused by imbalanced pH levels, and stimulate the maintenance of healthy skin conditions.

Neutrogena MaskiD
Johnson & Johnson’s Neutrogena unveiled MaskiD at CES. It is a unique concept, where the users can analyze their faces using an app, which can measure the size of their face and create 3D-print custom face masks on the basis of their measurements, along with targeted treatments. Every mask has its own unique shape and color pattern, depending on different skin requirements.
