The following are factors why Gujarat is a great state to study:

Top Universities and Educational Centres

There are some of the finest research centers and top universities in Gujarat. It has both public and private universities which are a total of 30 in number. Among these 30, there is one central university, eighteen state universities; two deemed universities, and nine private universities.

Examples of a few of these universities are the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), IIT, Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmadabad, Institute of Rural Management Anand, National Institute of Design, Space Applications Centre, etc.

Tag of Safety

Gujarat is among the top 5 states which have been given the tag of ‘The Safest States in India’. The reason why people consider it a safe state is because of it being a ‘dry state’. It has a law in force that prohibits the manufacture, sale, and consumption of alcohol within the state boundaries.

Also, except for the Navratras, Gujarat is not popular for its nightlife. Relatively, lower crime rates and peace in the state are what Gujarat takes pride in. However, these notions are changing in modern times. Nevertheless, seeing the increased crime rate in metropolitan cities, the tag of the safest state in India certainly suits Gujarat.

The growth engine runs fast

It is no surprise that Gujarat is an important business hub in the country. Industry & business-friendly environment and business minds and hard work of the people have made Gujarat the nerve center for development in manufacturing, textiles, diamond trade, pharmaceuticals, etc.

Gujarat’s equal focus on all sectors has helped- the state is the only one to boast of double-digit growth both in agriculture and industry. Be it diamonds and gems, information technology and food agriculture, Liquid Natural Gas, and water power plants, Gujarat provides strength to all these sectors which put India on the road to success.

Prettiest Weekend getaways

People from all over the country, once in their lifetime, do visit this land of legends and lions. Gujarat consists of some of the most alluring tourist places and is indeed replete with a number of places to relax and rejuvenate.

It is renowned for its beaches, temple towns, and historic capitals. Gujarat has always been a major center for the Jains and this is why the state is also popular for some of the most beautiful Jain Temples. Some of the best places to visit in Gujarat would be Gir National Park, Great Rann of Kutch, Dwarka, Thol Lake Bird Sanctuary, Bhavnagar, Bhuj, etc.

To conclude, top universities, the tag of being the safest state, the onward road to development, and amazing weekend getaways make Gujarat an excellent state to pursue education in. Pursue your education with the taste of Gujarat.
