Documents Required for PAN Card Corrections

In the first case, if you need to change the name, then you have to submit a marriage certificate, wedding invitation card, publication of name change in a gazette, and a copy of the passport showing the spouse’s name.
And in another case, if an applicant applies for a name change, he/she must submit proof of publication of name change in the Gazette. On the other side, for changes in companies’ names, a Registration Certificate for the name change is required by the authority.
If there are changes in the contact address, you need to mention the new address in the pan correction form. Later on, that will be updated in the Income Tax Department database.
If there are changes or corrections in the date of birth for an applicant, then appropriate documents with the correct date of birth must be submitted.
