After blogging came into the picture the news sites and other huge content-oriented sites got a tough time to market or project their content for more readability and make the most of the top content available to the readers.

Before the news sites were simple and easy to read, but now its became a challenge for the news or huge content-oriented sites to display more categorized top content in one single home page like having category wise new articles, top articles, photos, videos, forums, recent comments or activities and most important not to forget social widgets like bookmarking buttons, Facebook, google friend connect widgets, etc.
It’s really a tough task to achieve the above. Here are the few aspects which need to be considered before we come up with a proper design:
- Good Color Schemes – Should be more relax-able
- Grid-Based Layout – A proper and calculated alignment of the content
- Typography – Matters a lot
- Categories as headings – for differentiating the various categorized content
- Pictures or Photos – Well-aligned pictures
- Line Space – Most important for a readable paragraph
- Margins – Breathing Space matters a lot for busy sites
- Light borders – for differentiating the sections
- Bulleted or List Items of Titles etc.
- and most important not to forget Readability
These are the few elements that a web designer should consider while planning for a more content-oriented website. I always wanted my site to be well arranged, more readable, and appealing, there are a lot of things I modified in this website and I keep changing the look to match the latest trend and to make my readers more comfortable with my site.
I know there are a lot more improvements to be done to the site and I do it with a proper plan etc. So I always keep searching for the websites which have got more content with the more appealing site – I do this just to get updated with the latest trend in User Interface and User Experience which always matters for every website and for inspiration too.
Here is a couple of inspirations on interesting sections of sites that I like most and which I wanted to highlight as the best part or section on a particular website.
